The Befitbody holistic injury prevention program applies to both in and away from the workplace. With focus on ergonomics and accidents, the program also considers the employee work place, preparation and demands upon the employee.
Today's work place exhibits more musculo-skeletal structural imbalances and susceptibility to injury than ever before, but identification and corrective measures will prevent injuries in the workplace and at home. The Befitbody approach identifies specific needs in the work place and applies proven programs & tools to accommodate those needs. The foundation of the program includes a physical aptitude test designed to asses the risk level of an employee becoming injured on or away from work. De-conditioned employees with more structural imbalances present a greater risk of injury. The results of these tests produce more informed hiring decisions and process for current employees to address issues that put them at higher risk for injury.
